Must-have Programming Books (infographic)

Here is another infographic today, and this time it is related to programming books. This is originally created by Perception System. There are many other books as well that I want to cover so if you are interested you can review this post by John Sonmez called The Ultimate List of Programming Books.

This is the infographic, you can click on it to zoom.

I have read two of these books cover to cover (Clean Code and The Art of Unit Testing) and read most of Code Complete and Gang of Four. I haven’t read any of the others. Which have you read?

  • This is great to know that you have read books from this list. I have only read parts of Clean Code and Code Complete. I look forward to completing those and also new books like Soft Skills. I use books as a reference mostly, but it is my dream to start reading cover to cover. 🙂

Code Complete is such a huge book that I think most people who have bought it have only read part of it. I bought it a year ago and still have several hundred pages left to go.
